2. Abgineh Museum of Tehran

The Abgineh museum complex was the house and working place of Qavam al-Saltanah till 1951 and was then handed over to the Egypt Embassy for seven years.

The construction of the Behesht Madaran Park, located in the northeast of the intersection of Resalat and Shahid Haqqani highways, began in late May of 2005.

6. Ab-o-Atash Park

Darakeh is one of the oldest and prettiest neighborhoods of Shemiranat along the North-South of the Valley of the same name, on either side of the Darakeh River.

8. Azadi Square

It is one of the largest squares of Tehran that hosts the Azadi Tower with forty-eight meters height as the symbol of Tehran.

Tajrish Bazaar is connected on one side to Tajrish Square and on the other side to Imamzadeh Saleh and the surrounding streets.

Dr. Hassabi's museum was opened a few months after his death, in 1992, at his home.

Professor Hassabi's museum is located in a special part of his residence, nearly 100 years old in Tehran, in the old Maghsoud Beik Tajrish neighborhood, in a very lush and beautiful area, until a few years ago it was called Hassabi crossroad garden alley.


Professor Hassabi's Museum(treasure) of Iran (the father of modern science and engineering in Iran), was created by his family and associates, to be a suitable place to preserve the works of Dr. Seyyed Mahmoud Hassabi (founder of the university and many academic, educational, industrial, cultural and research centers in the country) and represents a cultural environment for the graceful, the knowledgeable lovers of science, research and culture.


It was opened on the third floor and the west side of Dr. Hassabi's home, the museum is approximately 40 square meters, including his personal belongings like clothes, toothbrush, glasses, comb, pen, notebook and handicrafts, certificates, appreciation letters, medals, family photos, children and grandchildren toys, family gifts and more.


The museum also exhibits works given to Dr. Hessabi, including paintings, handwritings, carpets, and handicrafts along with personal items and all of his authored and translated works.
